Nightingale

Where to Find Abalonite - Nightingale

By
Scott Peers

Abalonite is one of the more difficult resources to find in Nightingale, not least because it requires you to upgrade your mining pick to level 230 or above. It can actually be found in Swamp Abeyance realms, but since you need to reach the end game content before you can mine it, there’s no use looking for it before you get the Excellent crafting stations. On this page, we’ll tell you everything we know about how to find Abalonite in Nightingale.

Abalonite is actually mined from these fungi/tree-like structures, which can only be mined with a level 230+ pickaxe.

Best Abalonite Locations - Nightingale

As mentioned above, before you can start mining Abalonite in Nightingale, you’ll need to reach The Watch so that you can gain access to Excellent crafting stations. The two most essential crafting stations that you’ll need are an Excellent Workbench and an Excellent Upgrade Bench, but in order to craft these you’ll also need ingredients that become available once you’ve crafted the Blacksmith’s Hearth augmentation. You can then craft all the other Excellent crafting stations which will give you access to the materials you need to upgrade your pickaxe.

Defeat Apex Bosses for T3 Essence

Once you have all the Excellent crafting stations necessary to make the best pickaxe, you also need to upgrade it via the Excellent Upgrade Bench using 40 T1 Essence initially, then 40 T2 Essence, and finally 40 T3 Essence. You can only get T3 Essence by completing Apex dungeon bosses at The Watch, which is why you need to continue through the story quests until you reach it. Once there, you can join other players in a multiplayer hub to complete dungeon puzzles and defeat Apex bosses, which will net you a few 100 T3 Essence per run.

Visit a Swamp Abeyance Realm

After you’ve upgraded your pickaxe with the necessary crafting stations and Essence requirements, you need to make sure that it’s at least level 230 before you can visit a Swamp Abeyance realm and look for Abalonite. See our Best Materials for All Tools page if you need help with upgrading your tools in general. Assuming you already have a 230+ pickaxe, you can craft Abeyance and Swamp realm cards, combine them at a portal, and visit the realm to begin your search for Abalonite.

Keep in mind that Abalonite seems to be mined from a fungi/tree-like substance, as shown in the screenshot above, so you’re not looking for ore deposits here. These are quite rare to come across, but after some testing, it seems like they’re most common in Abeyance Swamp realms. We’ll be updating this page with additional information as we learn more about where to find this elusive resource. Nightingale is a PvE open-world survival crafting game with a few unique features for the genre. First among these is the Realm Card system, whereby players can discover and craft Major or Minor realm cards to influence aspects of procedurally generated worlds or character attributes respectively. You may find yourself in a more forgiving or hostile world depending on the Major cards you use, but the Minor cards can give you an edge against foes with boosts to damage, health, stamina, or other aspects of survival. The game is set in the Victorian era and has more than a little influence from Steampunk fiction, so if that’s anything like your thing, you’ll love this world!
