How to Find all Spirit Ashes in Weeping Peninsula

By
Scott Peers

Spirit Ashes are used to summon powerful beings to fight with you and this page will explain where and how to find all Spirit Ashes in the Weeping Peninsula region of Elden Ring.

All Spirit Ashes Locations in the Weeping Peninsula of Elden Ring

Name Location
Lhutel the Headless Ashes Dropped by Cemetery Shade at the Tombsward Catacombs
Demi-Human Ashes Dropped by Erdtree Burial Watchdog at the Impaler’s Catacombs
Warhawk Ashes Provided by a spirit located north of Church of Pilgrimage, requires interaction with “Prophecy” Painting at Liftside Chamber in Stormveil Castle

Lhutel the Headless Ashes

The Lhutel the Headless Ashes can be obtained from the Cemetery Shade optional boss, located at the Tombsward Catacombs in the western part of Weeping Peninsula, as shown on the map below. This is a powerful Spirit Ashes which can be upgraded with Ghost Glovewort, plenty of which can be found in the Tombsward Catacombs. Lhutel has the ability to teleport on the battlefield, and her lance is infused with magic damage.

If you’re having trouble locating the lever to open the door to the boss room, see the gif below. Keep in mind that there will be enemies in the halls when you first go through the catacombs.

Demi-Human Ashes

The Demi-Human Ashes can be obtained from the Erdtree Burial Watchdog at the Impaler’s Catacombs, in the northeastern part of the Weeping Peninsula, as shown on the map below. This Spirit Ashes summons five small Demi-Humans who are small in stature and don’t inflict much damage compared with other summons, but they can be a useful distraction in chaotic fights.

The way to open the door to the boss room isn’t entirely obvious, so we’ve included a gif below to show how it’s done. Keep in mind that you’ll need to kill enemies along the way when you first pass through the Catacombs.

Warhawk Ashes

You can obtain these ashes from a spirit located north of the Church of Pilgrimage, in the northernmost part of the Weeping Peninsula. However, the spirit won’t spawn unless you’ve first interacted with the “Prophecy” Painting at Liftside Chamber in Stormveil Castle.
