In Elden Ring, you’ll find a wide range of unique items from Consumables to Spirit Ashes as well as Key Items. This page will show you all the Key Items in the Stormveil Castle region.

Key Item Locations in Stormveil Castle¶

Talisman Pouch¶

The Talisman Pouch is dropped by Margit the Fell Omen upon defeating him. He’s located on the approach to Stormveil Castle from the southeast. You can see our guide to the boss fight if you need help defeating him. The Talisman Pouch is a special item which increases the number of Talisman slots that you can carry at the same time by 1, allowing you to use two at the same time.

Furlcalling Finger Remedy 1¶

The first Furlcalling Finger Remedy at Stormveil Castle is located to the right of the main gate as you approach from the southeast. You’ll find it on a corpse at the end of the path down the steps.

Rusty Key¶

The Rusty Key is located on the third floor in the first rooms of the castle as you enter from the Stormveil Cliffside Site of Grace. More specifically, you’ll find it in the room where the Banished Knight who ambushes you in the dark dwells.

Godskin Prayerbook¶

The Godskin Prayerbook is located in a chest beyond the mist in the rat cellar, the entrance to which can be found in the southern part of the main courtyard. You’ll need a Stonesword Key to use on the Imp Seal Statue in order to dispel the mist and gain access to the lower levels.

Mimic’s Veil¶

The Mimic’s Veil item is in a chest on the second floor from the main hall, where the Banished Knight roams around the large table. It’s possible to sneak in to open the chest without being seen, but you’ll need to be quick. The Mimic’s Veil allows you to transform into any number of nearby objects, thereby being disguised from nearby enemies. It can be useful to use as you wait for a powerful patrol to pass by if you have no escape route without being seen.

Chrysalids’ Memento¶

The Chrysalids’ Memento can be found within the pile of humanoid bodies beneath the hanging giant, adjacent to the main hall. The pile is guarded by two creatures, so you’ll need to kill them first. The item can be given to Roderika in Stormhill to further her quest. Doing so unlocks Roderika’s shop, which you can use to upgrade your Spirit Ashes.

Stonesword Key 1¶

This Stonesword Key can be found in the ruins of a tower on the rooftops. You can access it relatively easily from the Rampart Tower Site of Grace, but if you don’t know where you’re going it can be difficult to find. See the gif below if you’re struggling.

Stonesword Key 2¶

This Stonesword Key can be looted from a corpse on a wooden platform overlooking the main hall. You’ll need to do a bit of rooftop climbing to access the platform initially, as shown in the gif below.

Festering Bloody Finger¶

The Festering Bloody Finger can be found on a corpse located on the rooftops, where a Banished Knight with a shield patrols. The rooftop overlooks the main courtyard.

Iron Whetblade¶

The Iron Whetblade can be looted from a corpse in the cellar guarded by an Imp Seal Statue. You’ll find two enemies with large axes within the room, so be ready to fight them. The easiest way to reach the cellar is from the main hall: go to the northwestern corner of the hall, where you’ll find a side room leading to the Imp Seal Statue.

Golden Seed 1¶

This Golden Seed is dropped by the root monster in the Underground Crypt, in the depths of Stormveil Castle. The root monster here is essentially a mini boss version of the Ulcerated Tree Spirit, and is still a tough fight.

Stonesword Key 3¶

This Stonesword Key can be looted from a corpse in the Underground Crypt, the same place where the above Root Monster is located. See the below gif for an easy route down to the crypt from the Rampart Tower Site of Grace.

Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [10]¶

The Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [10] can be looted from a corpse on a wooden platform overlooking the courtyard. See the below gif for a quick guide on how to get there from the Rampart Tower Site of Grace. The cookbook provides the Stormwing Bone Arrow recipe.

Furlcalling Finger Remedy 2¶

The second Furlcalling Finger Remedy can be looted from a corpse on the steps to the main courtyard. The steps are located directly east from the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace, making this one of the easiest items to find.

Golden Seed 2¶

The second Golden Seed can be found beneath a golden tree in the main courtyard, a little further east from the location of the corpse from which you looted the above Furlcalling Finger Remedy.

Godrick’s Great Rune¶

Godrick’s Great Rune is obtained automatically after defeating Godrick the Grafted. You’ll find Godrick next to the Secluded Cell Site of Grace, in the northern part of the castle.

Shabriri Grape¶

The Shabriri Grape item can be found beside a spirit praying beyond Godrick’s throne room. Note that you don’t need to defeat Godrick to obtain it, you can enter from behind by going around the castle using the broken bridge route. The item can be used to progress Hyetta’s quest.
