Information and walkthrough for the Minor Erdtree (Limgrave) location in Elden Ring, including information about how to find the Spiked Cracked Tear, the Greenspill Crystal Tear and the Ash of War: Ground Slam.

The Minor Erdtree in Limgrave, seen from outside the Third Church of Marika.

How to Find the Minor Erdtree (Limgrave)

The Minor Erdtree in Limgrave can be found by… well, by just looking south from the Third Church of Marika. The massive golden tree in the distance? That’s your destination. Just follow the road south, then southwest and when you find the monument to the left of the road where you can find the Map (Limgrave, East) head uphill to the southeast. The Minor Erdtree in Limgrave can be found southwest of the Siofra River Well, northeast of Mistwood Ruins.

How to Complete the Minor Erdtree (Limgrave)

While the Minor Erdtree itself isn’t all that interesting, there is a good bit of loot in the vicinity, with the Minor Erdtree mostly just serving as a landmark.

You can find a stone offering bowl near the base of the Minor Erdtree, along the tree’s western side. Loot it and you’ll obtain the Greenspill Crystal Tear and the Spiked Cracked Tear, both of which are components you can use to alter the effects of your Flask of Wondrous Physick (found at the Third Church of Marika). The Greenspill Crystal Tear will cause your Flask of Wondrous Physick to boost your Stamina, while the Spiked Cracked Tear will boost the damage of your charge attacks.

Make your way west of the Minor Erdtree and you’ll find some Demi-Humans standing at the edge of a short cliff. Aside from the ambush they’re plotting, they’re not too interesting in and of themselves. If you kill them and loot the wagon they were using as bait you’ll obtain a Thin Beast Bone - not really worth the effort. More lucratively, however, between the Demi-Humans and the Minor Erdtree you’ll find a scarab you can kill. Doing so will earn you the Ash of War: Stomp.

You can find a Nomadic Merchant northwest of Fort Haight.

What Items You Can Buy From the Nomadic Merchant

South of the Minor Erdtree itself you can find a Nomadic Merchant camping out at the southern edge of the Mistwood. He’ll sell you a variety of wares, as follows:
