Where to Find Mimic Tear Ashes

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on where to find the Mimic Tear Ashes in the Nokron, Eternal City region. This is one of the most powerful spirit ashes in the game so you’ll definitely want to get your hands on it!

Don’t talk to me or my son ever again.

How to Find the Mimic Tear Ashes Location in Nokron, Eternal City

Since the Mimic Tear is in Nokron, Eternal City, you’ll need to have access to the area. This area only becomes accessible when you’ve defeated Starscourge Radahn. When you reach Nokron, you’ll need to reach the Ancestral Woods site of grace. It’s just above the ruins in Nokron and south of Hallowhorn Grounds. Once there, find the giant statue and then look for the rooftops below - this is where you’ll need to jump down to. Then head right along the edge and then jump down onto another roof below. To your right you’ll find a staircase, but rather than go up those jump down onto the dome roof below and continue along the flat rooftops - taking out any Silver Tears as you go. When you reach a natural end to the roof top, head down a narrow ledge between two buildings to the left and you’ll find a ramp of rubble that takes you into a building. Once inside, head east up the steps and down the corridor towards the fog gate with an imp statue lock.

The Mimic Tear Ashes are found in a chest locked behind an imp statue door in Night’s Sacred Ground. To unlock the door, you’ll need a stonesword key which can be purchased by merchants or found by looting corpses.

What are Mimic Tear Ashes?

The Mimic Tear Ashes allow you to summon (using the summoning bell) a replica of yourself to fight alongside you. It costs 660 HP to summon.

Your replica will use your chosen weapon, wear the same armor and use the same spells as you. It will also have the same reserve of flasks and will use them accordingly - the mimic is pretty smart! It acts completely on it’s own so it’ll do damage wherever it can but also serve as a distraction whilst you hit bosses from behind or afar!
