Elden Ring

All Bosses in Weeping Peninsula

By
Claire Farnworth

In Elden Ring, you’ll find yourself up against many challenging Bosses, many of which are optional. This page will detail where you can find every Boss in Weeping Peninsula.

All Boss Locations in the Weeping Peninsula of Elden Ring

Ancient Hero of Zamor (Weeping Peninsula)

One of the most challenging bosses to face in Weeping Peninsula, the Ancient Hero of Zamor can be fought by using a Stonesword Key on the imp statue near the stone circle. This will open the way to the Weeping Evergaol and, after approaching the blue light, the Ancient Hero of Zamor will spawn in to confront you. It uses a variety of frost breath attacks and, if you’ve played Dark Souls III, has a similar moveset to The Dancer. If you successfully defeat him, he will drop Radagon’s Scarseal, a talisman that raises attributes at the cost of damage taken.

Cemetery Shade (Weeping Peninsula)

The first of two Cemetery Shades, this one can be found in the Tombsward Catacombs after solving the puzzle there. The Cemetery Shade is a fast-moving boss, that can teleport around you and inflict blood loss if you get hit. At range, it shoots a green sticky substance that can ensnare you in place. After defeating it, you will be rewarded with the Lhutel the Headless Spirit Ashes.

Deathbird (Weeping Peninsula)

If you thought one was bad enough, the Deathbird makes another appearance in the Castle Morne Ramparts area in Weeping Peninsula. This time it’s accompanied by a group of flying enemies but its general moveset remains the same from the Limgrave version. It has higher health and hits a lot harder however so be wary. It may be best to try riding Torrent during the fight to avoid its attacks a little easier. For successfully slaying the Deathbird, you will be rewarded with the Blue-Feathered Branchsword.

Erdtree Avatar (Weeping Peninsula)

The Erdtree Avatars exist to protect the Minor Erdtrees scattered around the Lands Between. Needless to say, you can find this one protecting the Minor Erdtree in the center of Weeping Peninsula. It wields a giant stone pillar which does incredible damage if you get hit but, while powerful, it is rather slow and cumbersome. It can cast Incantations with a large blast AoE effect so beware if it plants its weapon into the ground. For slaying the Erdtree Avatar, you will receive both an Opaline Bubbletear, and Crimsonburst Crystal Tear.

Erdtree Burial Watchdog (Weeping Peninsula)

Another familiar face, this version of the Erdtree Burial Watchdog is found as the boss of the Impaler’s Catacomb just to the east of the Bridge of Sacrifice. A notable difference from the Limgrave version are the little goblins that surround the room. Take these out before focusing on the boss or you will be in for a very frustrating fight. It also has two heads and has a more powerful flame breath attack as well as generally higher health and attack power. It drops the Demi-Human Ashes in defeat.

Leonine Misbegotten

One of the Greater Bosses, and found on the beach below Castle Morne, the Leonine Misbegotten is not to be trifled with. Complete with a giant sword, he bounds around the arena and attacks with grand, sweeping swings of his sword, as well as deals massive damage if you get hit. Beware several combos as well as his ability to turn on a dime to get further attacks in. The best opening for attack is after he leaps and plants his sword into the ground. If you manage to kill him, you will be rewarded with the unique Grafted Blade Greatsword.

Miranda the Blighted Bloom

A boss version of the giant flower you likely encountered in the Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave, Miranda is found as the final boss of Tombsward Cave. Her boss room is very cramped and she is accompanied by a few baby blighted blooms who all frequently spit poison at you. Miranda herself uses the same light beam and poison attacks as the enemy in Limgrave, so you may wish to bring some poison protection. She is incredibly weak to fire so a torch or fire incantations as well as a fire-coated weapon will work wonders. She will drop the Viridian Amber Medallion in death.

Night’s Cavalry (Weeping Peninsula)

This version of the Night’s Cavalry can be found patroling the road near the Castle Morne Ramparts and wields a double-headed flail. If you attempt to fight him on Torrent, use a lance of spear of some kind or ranged attacks. If you get hit, he will likely kill Torrent as he is much more powerful than the Limgrave version. The flail has a very wide reach and he regularly swings it multiple times, with the chance of inflicting Bleed on a successful hit. If you manage to kill his horse, you can stab him while he’s on the ground for huge damage. He will drop the Ash of War: Barricade Shield, and his Nightrider Flail as your rewards.

Runebear

This colossal bear is the final boss of Earthbore Cave which is found west of the Forest Tower Lookout. If you fought any of the bears in the Mistwood, you may be somewhat familiar with its moveset but needless to say, it is much more powerful than that. Its attacks do Bleed damage but can be blocked with a good shield and high stamina. It has a large HP pool so you will need to chip away and do beware of its bear hug if you get too close. For killing it, you will receive the Spelldrake Talisman.

Scaly Misbegotten

The Scaly Misbegotten is the final boss of the Morne Tunnel, found just east of the Minor Erdtree. It is vulnerable to fire damage so coating your weapon with Fire Grease or using any other fire attacks should serve you well. While it can deal reasonable damage with a swing of its large axe, it is quite slow and has a low HP pool so shouldn’t prove too difficult to deal with. It drops the Rusted Anchor for successfully killing it.
