During your conversations with Captain Brant to learn more about the false Sovran in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will be asked to look into the queen regent herself, Disa, and discover exactly what she is plotting. This kicks off the quest Disa’s Plot which asks you to look into everything she is up to and report back to Captain Brant.

Search For Evidence of Disa’s Misdeeds¶

To start looking into what Disa might be plotting, you will need to head into Vernworth Palace at night, visiting the chambers on the top floor. This can be easily accessed via the main palace hall, which is on your right as you leave the Guardhouse room. On this upper floor, you will find the Vernworth Castle Offices.

In here there is a letter on the desk which you can pick up. If you have already met Sven in Vernworth he will recognize you and thank you for looking into Disa’s schemes. He will also tell you that he is the son of Disa.

Unfortunately, your conversation will get cut off and you will need to make your exit through a nearby window. Drop down from the window in the office onto the ground and make your way back to Captain Brant to report your findings. This will tick off one of the requests from Brant and you can move on to tackling some of the other main story quests he offers.

Overall, this isn’t a long quest, but it can be put on the backburner if you find yourself distracted by other missions. However, it is worth completing it as soon as possible as it sets a number of main story events into progress on the world map.
