Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

How To Get Charcadet Evolutions

By
Shane Williams

This page explains everything you may wish to know and how to get Charcadet Evolutions Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. These are hidden throughout Paldea and are required for completing the Pokédex. It’s also worth noting that there’s an exclusive Charcadet Evolution for each version.

Charcadet is a Fire Type Pokemon.

Charcadet is a new Pokémon to the Pokédex and is a Fire Fire Type

Where to Catch Charcadet

If you haven’t caught yourself a Charcadet, then there’s a few locations where you can find one. Head to West Province Area 1 and you’ll find it roaming around to the east of the Flying Titan Bombirdier (Level 19). Alternatively, if you would like to catch a little earlier in the game, then make a visit over to South Province Area 2 and you can find it hiding over to the northwest of the South Province Area 3 Pokemon Center.

Charcadet is extremely weak to Water Water, Rock Rock and Ground Ground and will take 2x damage from them, so you want to use those Pokemon Types which are slightly above its level to lower its health before attempting to catch it. If you picked Quaxly, then that’ll be great candidates here. Additionally, there isn’t a level requirement for when you can evolve Charcadet, so feel free to do it once you have the required item.

Charcadet Evolutions

Charcadet evolutions will change depending on the version of Pokemon Scarlet or Violet as previously mentioned. If you chose Scarlet then the Charcadet Evolution will be Armarouge, a Fire Fire and "Psychic" iconPsychic Psychic Type. For Violet, the Charcadet evolution will be Ceruledge, a Fire Fire and Ghost Ghost Type.

To gain a Charcadet Evolution you’ll need to give items to a man in Zapapico which is located in East Province Area 3. For those with the Scarlet Version you’ll need to trade him 10 "Bronzor Fragment" iconBronzor Fragments for the "Auspicious Armor" iconAuspicious Armor and for those with Violet you’ll need to trade 10 "Sinistea Chip" iconSinistea Chips for the "Malicious Armor" iconMalicious Armor. Once you have the item, use it on your Charcadet to evolve it.

How To Obtain Bronzor Fragments and Sinistea Chips

However you may be wondering how you obtain "Sinistea" IconSinistea Chips or Broznor Fragments for a desired Charcadet Evolution. You’ll have a better chance of obtaining these items by defeating "Bronzor" IconBronzor and Sinistea. Brozor can be found around the Asado Desert Ruins or in East Province Area Two and Sinistea can be found east of Zapapico or east of Alfornado.
