This page details all the exclusive Pokémon that you’ll only find in Pokémon Scarlet. It includes new Pokémon and older generation Pokémon that can only be found in the Scarlet version of the game.

New and Returning for Pokémon Scarlet

Larvitar, Pupitar, and Tyranitar

"Larvitar" IconLarvitar is a Generation II Rock/Ground-type Pokémon and has two evolution stages: "Pupitar" IconPupitar and "Tyranitar" IconTyranitar. Pupitar is also a Rock/Ground-type Pokémon and Tyranitar is a Rock/Dark-type pseudo-type legendary Pokémon.

Stonjourner

"Stonjourner" IconStonjourner is a Big Rock Pokémon. Its a Generation VIII Rock-type Pokémon with no known evolutions. Stonjourner has the Power Spot ability, which increases the power of moves used by allies by 30%.

Armarouge the Fire Warrior Pokémon is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet. It’s a Fire and Psychic type with the Flash Fire ability, which boosts its Fire type attacks when hit by one. It has a new move called Armor Cannon that deals heavy Fire-type Special damage, but lowers Armarouge’s Def and Sp. Def stats.

Great Tusk

Not much is known about Great Tusk at this stage. The new Pokémon seems to resemble "Donphan" IconDonphan, a Ground-type Pokémon from the Johto region. Its key features include its large body and massive tusks. Perhaps a past version of Donphan?

Koraidon

Koraidon is a Legendary Pokémon that appears in Pokémon Scarlet, featuring on the game’s cover art. You will receive a Koraidon to accompany you during your travels.

Koraidon has multiple forms to suit different traversal needs: Sprinting Build for moving fast on land, Swimming Build for going across water and Gliding Build for gliding through the air.
