It’s time to let trainers in on how to get Timburr, Gurdurr and Conkeldurr in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask. We’ve also got a great Conkeldurr competitive build detailed in this guide, so let’s not waste any time and get straight into it.
How To Get Timburr¶
Start by fast traveling to Kitakami Hall then travelling east to the river just before hitting Mossfell Confluence. Timburr can be found on the grasslands here, and they can be caught easily enough with Quick Balls.
How To Get Gurdurr¶
There’s two ways to grab Gurdurr. The first way is to level up the captured Timburr by one to evolve it into Gurdurr. The second way Is to look around the same area to find a Timburr in the wild, which is worth it as it can sometimes spawn as a Tera Pokémon.
How To Get Conkeldurr¶
Trainers will need to trade their captured or evolved Gurdurr to evolve it again into Conkeldurr. Whilst no items are needed, this part can be a bit awkward for those without friends to trade with or a second copy of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and a Nintendo Switch.
Luckily for trainers, there are good souls around in the Pokémon community, notably Austin John Plays, who have released codes to trade version exclusives and trade-only evolutions for situations like this.
Conkeldurrs trade code is 0533 0533, and we can confirm that this method works. When finishing the trade, the new Gurdurr will evolve into Conkeldurr.

It’s STAB move is Mach Punch, which will be boosted again with its fighting Tera type. The rest of the moveset is simply for good coverage options, making Conkeldurr a force of nature.
