How hard is it to get Shiny "Munchlax" IconMunchlax in Ogre Oustin’! in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask? In all honesty, it’s not easy at all. Trainers must work through the easy and medium Ogre Oustin’! ranks near Kitakami Hall to unlock ten stages of hard games. We’ve got some great tips for trainers to follow to get that Shiny Munchlax, so let’s get “poppin’”.

Trainers must play with others to complete the ten stages of Ogre Oustin’! hard rank.

Tips For Beating Hard Rank In Ogre Oustin’!

With the obvious fact of going through easy and medium ranks first, there’s some specifics that trainers will need to take into account. The main point here is coordinating with three other players, otherwise hard-mode is nigh on impossible.

The cliffnotes of this strategy (credit to Austin John Plays) starts with a team of four players running to the back of the map on each stage and working their way back. Each player will know which color berry they need, with the first trainer to drop off berries staying in the middle of them, spamming Joy-Con-R R to "Roar" iconRoar and scare cheeky Pokémon away.

Clear all ten hard-rank stages to get a very special reward.

Here are some more tips to consider when taking on Ogre Oustin’! hard rank:

  • Use a private Discord channel with other trusted trainers to manage games in real-time (Make sure to check with parents first for minor trainers)
  • Plan a route that doesn’t conflict with another trainer’s, then stick to it
  • Each trainer should start in a different area, facing the goal point and working their way back to it
  • Carry as many berries as possible (up to 30) before depositing so they’re safe
  • Just grab the required amount for any maps that require under 30 berries
