Looking for a solid Dachbun raid build? Those in the UK know about the immense health benefits of having a sausage wrapped up in Pastry, but we hope the same doesn’t apply to the Pokémon world. Dachsbun’s inspiration is very clear all terrible jokes aside, and a strong Dachsbun raid build becoming a key player in Tera Raid top builds.

A wild Dachsbun

There’s a tonne of strategy and research to do when taking on anything higher than a 5-Star raid, which is why we’ve gone all in on events and the best Pokémon Builds to use. Having a comprehensive Dachsbun raid build is certainly up there.

We’re seeing a huge surge in Azumarill and Sylveon builds. Fairy-type builds are out in force and ready to take on the Dragon-Types, including our Dachsbun raid build

Let’s get into everything players need to know about the best Dachsbun Tera build:

How To Get a Good Dachsbun Raid Build:

How to catch Dachsbun - known habitats

Before making a Dachsbun raid build, trainers need to catch one. Dachsbun can be caught at the following locations:

  • South-West corner of Paldea outside of Alfornada
  • Just outside of Medali
  • Near the South Province (Area Three) Pokémon Centre

Alternatively players can catch it’s pre-evolved form, Fidough at the start of the game and evolve at level 26. Unlike other best Tera Raid battle Pokémon, Dachsbun is easy enough to find and evolve. The hard part is leveling Dachsbun up past level 90 for it to hold its own in 6 and 7-Tera Raid battles. The good thing about grinding Tera Raids however are getting the following items to level up Pokémon quickly:

The Best Dachsbun Raid Build

Tera Nature EV Focus Ability Moveset Held Item
Fairy Impish HP and Def Well-Baked Body "Draining Kiss" iconDraining Kiss, "Play Rough" iconPlay Rough, "Tera Blast" iconTera Blast, "Misty Terrain" iconMisty Terrain "Ability Shield" iconAbility Shield

The best way to use a Dachbun raid build is as a tank support. Much like its use against "Charizard" IconCharizard, the “Well-Baked Body” Ability is going to work amazingly against any Fire-type opponent due to taking to damage and increasing its defense stat by two stages when hit. Focusing EVs in HP and Defense will further back up this build, with its Impish Nature stocking up Defense further. To protect this strategy, we recommend using the "Ability Shield" iconAbility Shield as a held item to make sure this ability can’t be changed during battle.

"Draining Kiss" iconDraining Kiss ensures players can deal Fairy-Type damage whilst generating HP in the same turn. "Play Rough" iconPlay Rough raises a users attack stat by one step, with "Misty Terrain" iconMisty Terrain preventing any status conditions for grounded Pokémon. It’s certainly a team player, with "Tera Blast" iconTera Blast available for this Dachsbun raid build to deal massive Fairy-type damage when Terastalized,

As previously mentioned, Dachsbun is a brilliant support Pokémon with enough Attack behind it to make a difference in battle. We would recommend starting with Misty Terrain to ensure grounded Pokémon don’t get any status conditions. From here, carry on with Draining Kiss to heal any damage and Play Rough to build up Dachsbun’s Attack stat when its health is full. If the opportunity presents itself, Terastalize and use Tera Blast to deal Fairy-type damage.
