Violet Paradox Pokémon Iron Valiant

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to find and catch the Violet Paradox Pokémon Iron Valiant in Pokémon Violet.

!Iron Valiant is a Violet Paradox Pokémon.

What is Iron Valiant?

Iron Valiant is a Violet exclusive Paradox Pokémon found in Area Zero. Paradox Pokémon are Pokémon that are exclusive to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet game. They resemble pre-existing Pokémon but have different move sets and types. Scarlet Paradox Pokémon are Ancient whilst Violet’s are futuristic.

You will only be able to capture Paradox Pokémon once you’ve got access to Area Zero - the crater at the center of the Paldea Region. You’ll have access to this area once you’ve completed the three story paths:

Once you’ve finished the story quest in Area Zero, you’ll also be able to return at any time by fast travelling to the Zero Gate.

How to Find & Catch Iron Valiant

Iron Valiant is one of the rarer Violet Paradox Pokémon and can be tricky to find! Below, you’ll find a video on how to find Iron Valiant as well as some written instructions.

First off, you’ll need to find the cave entrance that’s right outside Research Station No. 3. Rather than going into the cave, head to the left and continue until you find a large tree beneath a rock archway. When you’re at the tree turn to the left to face a rocky cliff.

!Iron Valiants are only found in a secret hidden cave near Research Station No. 3.

You should be able to spot a small opening between two rocks in this cliff area. Pass through the opening to find a secret tunnel that takes you into a large open cave! Here, you will find several Iron Valiant Pokémon. They’re quite hostile so they’ll run right at you to battle your Pokémon! The Iron Valiant Pokémon around here are about level 57 so make sure your Pokémon are appropriately levelled if you’re looking to capture one. Sometimes they can be a bit stubborn so we like to use "Ultra Ball" iconUltra Balls to make extra sure we catch them!
