Ravaged Path is a small cavern located in the center of Route 204, which divides the route into two halves. Although you can visit here immediately after Jubilife City, you can’t pass through the cave until you can use HM Rock Smash.

How to Navigate Ravaged Path¶
From the south entrance, head north up the steps. Scoop up the Antidote near the cracked rocks on the right. If you have the Coal Badge, you can use HM Rock Smash to break the cracked rocks and reach the exit towards the right. Before going that way though, head north-west and smash the rock blocking the narrow path.
Squeeze through and navigate around (or obliterate) the cracked rocks here to reach TM39 Rock Tomb. For now, that’s probably all you can do here. But once you’ve got access to HM Surf, you can swim north, along the underground stream. After a short distance, there’s some land towards the north-west. Here, follow the narrow path along the western wall, smashing any rocks in your way.
(1 of 2) You need to use Rock Smash to get rid of these rocks.

Once you’ve gone around the corner, there’ll be a group of 6 cracked rocks clustered together. To the right of these rocks is a Luck Incense for the taking. Afterwards, head south from the rock cluster and leap over the ledges to return towards the stream. Use Surf to re-enter the stream and follow it in a north-easterly direction. The reward waiting at the end is TM03 Water Pulse.
