No matter how brave or skilled you are as a Pokémon trainer, there are times when you need to rely on outside help. Before you set off to new horizons, it’s always a good idea to check the local services.

Pokémon Center¶

This red-roofed building should be your first point of contact whenever you reach a new town or city. The nurse behind the main desk can fully restore your Pokémon’s health (HP, PP and status) within moments–and free of charge!

There’s also a PC that you can use to access your Pokémon boxes, so you can re-arrange your party or take a look at your Pokémon collection.

Poké Mart¶

This blue-roofed building is a shop geared towards Pokémon trainers. The clerk on the right sells handy recovery items and Poké Balls, so you can fix up your Pokémon in the middle of nowhere and make new Pokémon friends. Initially, their selection of items is limited, but more items are added as you earn Gym badges.

Meanwhile, the clerk on the left sells items that vary, depending on the particular Poké Mart. These include specialized Poké Balls like Net Balls. Don’t forget to take a look, as you never know what they’re selling!
