This is a walkthrough for Route 214, including what Pokémon you can encounter and items you can find.
What’s the Purpose of Ruin Maniac Cave?¶
Towards the north end of the route, there’s a cave up on the highlands, directly opposite the gatehouse to Veilstone City. This entrance leads to Ruin Maniac Cave, which–to begin with–is a pretty small and empty cave.
However, as you collect more and more 
Unown forms in Solaceon Ruins, the cave will grow, until it eventually reaches a secret area of Solaceon Ruins.
