This page explains how to find Defog (TM97) - a flying-type HM Move (Hidden Move) that allows you to blow away white fog that obscures the path in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP).

Cut HM Location¶
HM Cut allows you to defog an area that’s been clouded by a white fog.
You will receive TM76 from a woman to the right as you enter the Great Marsh in Pastoria City. Then you’ll be able to use Defog outside of battle after earning the Fen Badge.
Defog is a hidden move that allows you to blow away fog that obscures your path.
How to Use Defog¶
To defog an area, open up and zoom into your Pokétch by using the R button.
While zoomed in, move the cursor with the Left Stick and press the A button while on top of the big red button on the right side to cycle to the Hidden Moves app. (You can also cycle by clicking the Right Stick inwards.)
When you’re on the Hidden Moves app (while zoomed in), hover over Defog with the cursor and then press the A button.

Notable Locations Where You Can Use Defog¶
- North side of Route 210 - The fog obscures the way to Celestic Town.
- To reach Snowpoint City from Mt. Coronet.
- To reach Route 224 after the Hall of Fame.
