Calyrex’s Challenge

At the end of Calyrex’s quest, you’ll have the opportunity to come here and catch "Calyrex" IconCalyrex, together with "Glastrier" IconGlastrier or "Spectrier" IconSpectrier. Otherwise, there’s not a lot to see here.

Items

A potent move famously used by Mewtwo. Although it’s not as scary nowadays, it’s still a staple for a lot of Psychic-types.

Item Location
TR11 Psychic Turn right before going up the stairs to the shrine. At the back of the area of raised land.
Max Revive Turn left after going up the stairs. This item’s sitting in the snow by the mountain wall.
King’s Rock Inside the shrine building, check behind the second tree on the left. The fixed camera can make it difficult to notice at first.

Hidden Items

Item Location
Exp. Candy L Beneath the tree to the left as you arrive in front of the stairs to the shrine. There’s a Pokémon Den in the nearby corner.
Bottle Cap Go up the stairs leading up to the shrine, then turn right before entering. Search the corner near the wall to find this shiny thing.

Den A

Immediately to the left, as you approach the exterior of the shrine. It’s also the only den here.

Welcome to our comprehensive strategy guide for Pokémon: Sword and Shield, the latest entries in the Pokémon video game franchise. Our guide also incorporates all the DLC, including the Isle of Armor and brand new Crown Tundra DLC.

In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion.

The games introduce several new features such as Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, functions that increase size and change forms of certain Pokémon; the Wild Area, a large open world with free camera movement; and raids with co-op battling. They also reintroduce features previously seen in Sun and Moon and Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, such as regional variants and roaming Pokémon depicted in the overworld.
