Legendary Birds

The main purpose of Dyna Tree Hill is to trigger the appearance of the Legendary Birds. After you’ve been briefed by Peony at Freezington, the next time you visit this zone, you’ll witness a cutscene of the birds fighting among themselves, before scattering to the winds. From that point on, you can find them roaming elsewhere.

Shake the Giant Tree!

While you’re here, something cool might happen if you try and shake the giant tree in the center. Before you go ahead though, you’ll want your Pokémon to be in tip-top shape.

Items

Brave Bird deals huge Flying-type damage, but afterwards damages the user slightly.

Item Location
TR66 Brave Bird Behind the giant tree, nestled between the tree roots.

Hidden Items

Item Location
Blue Apricorn, Red Apricorn etc. Treat the giant tree in the center of the area as the middle of a clock and the entrance via Ballimere Lake as 6 o’clock. Search the middle of the plants around the 7 o’clock position, a few paces away from the tree trunk.
Pink Apricorn, White Apricorn etc. Among some pebbles near the Pokémon Den at the 9 o’clock position.
Green Apricorn, Red Apricorn etc. Near the leafy bushes by the edge of the hill when traveling a few paces clockwise from the Pokémon Den.
Red Apricorn, Yellow Apricorn etc. Near a group of 5 plants around the 10-11 o’clock position, halfway between the tree and the edge of the hill. There’s a "Greedent" IconGreedent somewhat close by.
White Apricorn, Pink Apricorn etc. Staying in the same clock position as before, head away from the giant tree. Then search the short grass before the edge of the hill. There’s a leafy plant on the right.
Red Apricorn, Yellow Apricorn etc. Search the top-most edge of the purple flowerbed around the 12 o’clock position. There should be a "Greedent" IconGreedent nearby.
Blue Apricorn, Black Apricorn etc. Also check out the nearby leafy plant to the right (when facing away from the giant tree).
Blue Apricorn, Red Apricorn etc. Travel clockwise towards the 1 o’clock position. Halfway between the tree and the edge of the hill, search the plants there. It’s a short distance away from the tree’s shadow.
Pink Apricorn, Blue Apricorn etc. Near the 3 o’clock position, there’s a bunch of yellow and purple flowers, with a "Greedent" IconGreedent nearby. Search a few paces anti-clockwise from those flowers.
White Apricorn, Yellow Apricorn etc. From the previous item, face away from the giant tree. Search in front of the lone bush directly ahead, by the edge of the hill.
Pink Apricorn, Red Apricorn etc. Around the 4 o’clock position, halfway between the tree and the edge of the hill, there’s some short grass and purple flowers. Search the left side of the flowers (with your back to the tree).
Blue Apricorn, Pink Apricorn etc. Keeping roughly the same distance from the edge of the hill, go clockwise and search the next leafy plant.
Yellow Apricorn, Blue Apricorn etc. Finally, continue clockwise for a short while. Then search near the pair of leafy plants halfway between the giant tree and the hill’s edge. It should be around the 5 o’clock position.

In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion.
