Route 9 Tunnel

This short tunnel connects Route 9 with Route 7. After entering, keep heading west. Then walk through the bystanders at the end of the tunnel. Hey, people, outta the way!

Route 7 (Part 2)

Previously, you couldn’t come here because Team Yell were in the way.

After leaving the Route 9 Tunnel, you’ll emerge at the eastern half of Route 7. Towards the north of the entrance is Hop, standing near a patch of tall grass. Step forward and Hop will come and say “hi”. Once you’re back in control, continue heading west, all the way across the bridge.

On the other side of the bridge, there’s a trainer looking for a fun time. If you’re in a hurry, you can avoid him by hugging the bottom of the path.

Gentleman Caden

Pokémon Level Type
"Doublade" IconDoublade 44 Steel/Ghost
"Passimian" IconPassimian 44 Fighting
"Polteageist" IconPolteageist 44 Ghost

"Doublade" IconDoublade is an evolved "Honedge" IconHonedge; it’s weak to Fire, Ground, Ghost and Dark. Next, "Passimian" IconPassimian is a Sword-exclusive ape found in Glimwood Tangle. Finally, "Polteageist" IconPolteageist is an evolved "Sinistea" IconSinistea; be cautious of its Sucker Punch.

Before leaving though, go east from the bottom of the bridge, down the narrow slope. When you reach the very bottom, there’s a berry tree on the left and some Safety Goggles on the right. After you’ve admired the sights here, go back up the slope, then proceed past the Gentleman. Above, there’s another cozy camp site. Go over the bottom-right corner to find TM58 Assurance, obscured by the bridge.

Finally, keep going west to return to the other half of Route 7 that you’ve already visited. From here, continue in the same direction to reach Hammerlocke again. Then, once you’re roaring to go, head towards Hammerlocke Stadium to take on your final Gym mission! You’ll find Hop, Leon and Sonia to the right of the stadium. Once they’re gone, step into the stadium.
