Overview

You’ll find East Lake Axewell on the eastern side of the bridge leading from Rolling Fields to Motostoke and in the middle, you may spot another island. This island is a ["Axew" IconAxew’s Eye], a different Zone and you’ll have to wait until you gain the ability to ride in the water before gaining access. For this reason alone, it’s better to avoid spending too much time in East Axewell Lake until you can fully explore it. You’ll find five Pokémon Dens in this Zone along with the entrance to Motostoke and two important NPCs.

Both the Watt Trader and the Camping King can be found just outside the entrance to Motostoke.

Watt Trader

Another Watt Trader can be found just to the left of stairs to Motostoke and using him, you’ll be able to exchange your Watts for various goods such as TRs and Wishing Pieces, beware however that the stock he carries changes daily so if a particular item catches your eye, be sure to snag it.

Camping King

The Camping King can be found beside the Watt Trader and this particular man will offer a host of features such as changing the color of your tent to match the Pokémon you have in the first position and judging your Curry Dex. After making a certain amount of different meals, you’ll unlock more Toys for your Pokémon at Camp so it’s well worth taking the time to fill it.

Welcome to our comprehensive strategy guide for Pokémon: Sword and Shield, the latest entries in the Pokémon video game franchise. Our guide also incorporates all the DLC, including the Isle of Armor and brand new Crown Tundra DLC.

In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion.

The games introduce several new features such as Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, functions that increase size and change forms of certain Pokémon; the Wild Area, a large open world with free camera movement; and raids with co-op battling. They also reintroduce features previously seen in Sun and Moon and Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, such as regional variants and roaming Pokémon depicted in the overworld.
