Items

This hold item badly poisons the user. You could use Trick to swap items with your opponent.

Item Location
TR89 Hurricane From the Tower of Waters on Challenge Beach, go to the left side of the tower (while facing the tower entrance). Stand with the tower behind you. Straight ahead, there’s a pair of elongated islands (shaped like an exclamation mark). Slightly to the right is an island with two trees. Swim to that island. Upon arriving on the main shore, turn left and head for the end of the narrow path.
Toxic Orb Opposite Loop Lagoon, near the furthest end of this zone, there’s a long, sandy island. Next to a boulder on this island.

Hidden Items

The seed items boost a particular stat when a certain Terrain has been triggered. The seed will be consumed when this happens.

Item Location
Nugget when coming here from the Tower of Waters, head for the island with two trees, just before the elongated pair of islands (shaped like an exclamation mark) and towards the right. To the left of the tree opposite the main shore.
Galarica Twig Next to the other tree on the same island, nearer the Tower of Waters.
Psychic Seed, Electric Seed etc. Among the red flowers above the previous tree.
Pretty Feather, Clever Feather etc. Head for the pair of islands shaped like an exclamation mark. If you search carefully around the two islands, you can find several of these things. Note: There are more feathers in the middle of the sea, but it’s not worth the effort purposely trying to track them down.
Pearl Opposite the Tower of Waters, past the exclamation mark islands, there’s an islet with a boulder. Search in front of the boulder…
Wishing Piece …And behind the boulder. [Doesn’t always spawn.]
Pearl, Big Pearl etc. Also check the sand a few paces to the left of the boulder (with the tower behind you).
Star Piece, Stardust etc. Even further away, opposite Loop Lagoon, there’s a long, sandy island. Head for the Pokémon Den here. There’s one item near the waves on the left (when facing the opposite end of the island), a quarter of the way along.
Dive Ball, Stardust etc. There’s another item slightly past the halfway point, nearer the right side.
Revive, Max Revive etc. Plus one more behind the boulder where the Toxic Orb is.

Welcome to our comprehensive strategy guide for Pokémon: Sword and Shield, the latest entries in the Pokémon video game franchise. Our guide also incorporates all the DLC, including the Isle of Armor and brand new Crown Tundra DLC.

In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion.

The games introduce several new features such as Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, functions that increase size and change forms of certain Pokémon; the Wild Area, a large open world with free camera movement; and raids with co-op battling. They also reintroduce features previously seen in Sun and Moon and Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, such as regional variants and roaming Pokémon depicted in the overworld.
