Items

Iron Tail is a strong Steel-type move, but suffers from relatively low accuracy.

Item Location
Rare Bone Go up the slope that’s adjacent to the underground stream, on the Training Lowlands side. On the left, there’s a small area with a rocky pillar in the center and a roaming "Druddigon" IconDruddigon. Go behind the pillar and you’ll find it next to a rock in the far corner.
TR31 Iron Tail Continue to the top of the slope. Up ahead, there’s a Pokémon Den. Head for the den and you’ll find this item above it.
Iron After going up the slope, turn left and go across the natural bridge. You should spot this item on the right, in front of a row of boulders.

Hidden Items

This hold item boosts the power of a Normal-type move by 30%, but disappears afterwards.

Item Location
Armorite Ore From the Soothing Wetlands entrance, behind the rock on the left where the cave starts to open up. [Doesn’t always spawn.]
Dusk Ball, Hard Stone etc. Turn right from the Soothing Wetlands entrance. Behind a rock near the corner away from the underground stream.
Nugget, Rare Candy etc. Enter the underground stream and head left (with respect to the wetlands entrance). Next to a rock in the nearby alcove. Requires the water-traversing bike.
Stardust Cross the stream to the other side, then begin heading for the exit on the left. Behind the rock where the cave begins to narrow again. If you can’t cross the stream, you can come here from the Training Lowlands instead.
Poké Ball, Wishing Piece etc. On the other side of the stream, next to the rock by the beginning of the slope that’s going up.
Star Piece, Dusk Stone etc. Go up the slope. On the left, there’s a small area with a rocky pillar in the center and a wandering "Druddigon" IconDruddigon. There are two items at the base of the pillar. This one’s nearer the slope you came from.
Great Ball, Dusk Ball Meanwhile, this one is a few paces to the right.
Max Potion Continue going up the slope. When the ground levels off again, check the rock on the right.
Heal Ball, Super Potion etc. From the previous item, head towards the den up ahead. When you’re halfway there, check behind the rock on the right.
Max Revive, Revive etc. Turn left from the top of the slope (while facing the den). Just before the natural bridge, there’s another big rocky pillar. Check the rock to the left of the pillar.
Max Revive, Revive etc. Also check the left side of the rocky pillar (while facing the natural bridge).
Max Revive, Star Piece etc. From the previous item, walk a few paces left and search the base of the pillar.
Moon Stone Before crossing the natural bridge, go right, behind the rocky pillar. Look for a rock in the corner. There’s an item where the rock meets the cavern wall. [Doesn’t always spawn.]
Normal Gem Go across the natural bridge. Head clock-wise along the path. On your left, there should be a rock just before you can see the exit to Challenge Road. Search this rock.

In Sword and Shield, you explore the Galar region, based on the United Kingdom, alongside rivals Hop, Bede and Marnie, with the aim to dethrone the Pokémon League Champion.

The games introduce several new features such as Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing, functions that increase size and change forms of certain Pokémon; the Wild Area, a large open world with free camera movement; and raids with co-op battling. They also reintroduce features previously seen in Sun and Moon and Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, such as regional variants and roaming Pokémon depicted in the overworld.
