Strongholds are a major focus of Diablo 4, they’re former towns or forts that are overrun by enemies and should you be able to cleanse them, you’ll unlock their features as a town with vendors, sometimes a Waypoint or unlock access to new Dungeons, Events, or Side Quests. This page will guide you on completing the 
Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold in Kehjistan.

Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold Objectives¶

Where to Find the Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold¶
Omath’s Redoubt is a level 47 Stronghold but it will scale with your level once you go above that, and could cause you to come across some tougher encounters. You’ll find the Stronghold to the south of Kehjistan, but can be easily reached by heading southwest from the Denshar Waypoint.
How to Complete Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold¶

Once you’ve arrived at the Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold you’ll see four yellow circles on your mini-map. Here you’ll find items/corpses you’ll need to interact with it. In these areas you’ll want to look for the following: two Kehjistani corpse, one Zakarumite corpse and a rusted blade. However, whilst you’re looking for these items you’ll have to deal with multiple enemies, so be sure to make use of your AoE Skills, such as Blood Surge for Necromancer.
- Inspect the Ceremonial Staff
After you’ve interacted with the four items, clear out any of the remaining enemies, then interact with the Ceremonial Staff which can be found in the center of the area. Doing this will summon the main boss of the stronghold - High Priestess Hadar.
How to Defeat High Priestess Hadar¶
You’ll have the entire stronghold to fight the boss in, so you’ll have more than enough room to avoid its attacks. However, the High Priestess Hadar will regularly form into a spirit and fly over to a different section of the stronghold. You’ll want to keep close to the boss and make use of Basic/Ultimate Skills. It has a few heavy hitting attacks to beware of and we’ll have a rundown of its attacks below:
- Shockwave
Throughout the battle the High Priestess Hadar will raise its staff into the air and slam it onto the ground causing a shockwave to take place in front of him. This will chip off about a quarter of your health and push you back. The easiest way to avoid this is to dodge to the side when you see the staff raise.
- Projectiles
Whilst you’re attacking the boss you’ll want to pay close attention to your surroundings, as hell summon multiple projectiles which will home in on you. These won’t deal too much damage on their own, but it’ll take your health below half if you get hit multiple times. Simply, save your dodge ability for when they get close to you to avoid it.
- Spirit Teleportation
As mentioned above the High Priestess Hadar will be able to teleport. However, it can easily be tracked by following the green spirit.

Overall, this battle isn’t overly complex as long as you pay close attention to his staff to avoid the shockwave and keep a lookout for green orbs as it’ll show where the boss is going to teleport to. Additionally take out any ads as they spawn rather than letting large groups of them overwhelm you.
