The Thunderhead is a giant cloud mass located in the north-western skies. By activating the Light Tower in Skyloft, an entrance will be created. Inside, the atmosphere is more gloomy compared to the rest of the sky.
The Isle of Songs
After conquering the first three dungeons, Link will be sent back to Skyloft to solve the secret of the Ballad of the Goddess. In doing so, he will discover an entrance to the previously inaccessible Thunderhead; inside, the Isle of Songs awaits.
Later on, after completing another three dungeons, Link returns to Skyloft to search for the whereabouts of the Triforce. After discussing with the teachers at the Knight Academy, Link decides to seek out Levias, the sky guardian, said to have lived in the skies since the very beginning.
Towards the south-west portion of the Thunderhead, there’s an island full of bugs. After Link speaks with Levias, Strich will find his way to this island. From then on, Link can play a bug-catching mini-game with two difficulties: “Bug Beginner” or “Bug Wrangler”. The rewards include rupees and rare bugs.
