The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

Sacred Shield

By

(1 of 2) If you don’t recklessly use the shield, it should last you for ages (or forever).

If you don’t recklessly use the shield, it should last you for ages (or forever). (left), This shield can parry electric and curse attacks. (right)

The Sacred Shield is the third type of shield you buy. It has less durability than even a Wooden Shield, but it can resist fire, electricity and curses, and gradually restores durability by itself.

More specifically, the Sacred Shield has 75% of the Wooden Shield’s durability. It will automatically restore 1 durability every 3 seconds. At most, it will take 33 seconds to reach maximum durability.

Also, if you raise the Sacred Shield at a Cursed Bokoblin, you can scare it away.

Where to Find

You may purchase the Sacred Shield from the Bazaar, after fighting the Imprisoned the first time.

Upgrades

You can upgrade the Sacred Shield into a Divine Shield via the Scrap Shop.

Or if you wait until near the end of the game, you can earn the Hylian Shield from Lanayru Gorge.
