Goddess's Harp

By

(1 of 2) Musical instruments are very common in Zelda games.

Musical instruments are very common in Zelda games. (left), The only skill required is rhythm. (right)

The Goddess’s Harp is a very important musical instrument passed down by the Goddess herself. Fun fact: It’s the same harp used by Sheik in Ocarina of Time.

To play the harp, press Up on the D-Pad to take out the harp, then hold the A button and move the Wii remote/Joy-Con/right stick to strum the harp.

If you play the harp in certain areas, Fi will appear to co-ordinate your performance. Below Fi, there will be an expanding and contracting ring of light, which dictates the rhythm you should strum to. As you successfully follow the rhythm, petals/beams of light will start appearing around Fi, until they form a complete circle.

You can also play the harp near Blessed Butterflies to spawn Gossip Stones or Goddess Walls. For these, you just need to randomly strum the harp for a short while (they’re not as picky).

Where to Find

You’ll be given the Goddess’s Harp after reaching the back of the Temple of Time in the Lanayru Desert.
