This improved version of the Beetle can pick up bombs (and other round objects like hornet nests) in its front jaws and drop them like a bomber plane.
While controlling the Hook Beetle, hold Z to switch to a top-down view, then press A to drop the item.
Where to Find¶
During the main quest, you’ll obtain the Hook Beetle after rescuing a robot in Lanayru Desert, south from the central sand pit.
Upgrades¶
Afterwards, when you visit the Scrap Shop, you can upgrade the Hook Beetle into the Quick Beetle.
