The Clawshots can hook onto vines and special targets and then drag you to their position. They first appeared in Twilight Princess, although they’re functionally identical to the Hookshot in earlier games.
You can use the Clawshots like the Slingshot or similar projectile-based items, by aiming with the Wii remote/Joy-Con/right stick. If a target can be hooked and is within range, the color of the cross-hairs will change from white to blue.
Since these are Clawshots, as in plural, you actually get two (so they’re essentially the Double Clawshot). After hooking onto a target, you can aim and shoot the second Clawshot at a different target, then repeat with the first Clawshot.
