Located south from Lanayru Caves, Lanayru Gorge is the home of the Thunder Dragon. Here, you can enjoy a time-shifting obstacle course.

Quests

Seeking the Thunder Dragon

During his quest for the sacred flames, Link can finally travel south from Lanayru Caves towards Lanayru Gorge. Upon arrival, Link discovers the Thunder Dragon has departed from this world. However, with a bit of effort, Link can visit the Thunder Dragon during the past.

Mini-games

Thunder Dragon’s Lightning Round

After healing the Thunder Dragon, the thankful dragon will offer Link the chance to retry any of the previous boss fights or silent realms. You can earn rupees and other cool prizes (see below) for doing so.

Prize Requirement
50 rupees Complete any boss fight or silent realm for the first time or beat your personal record.
20 rupees Complete 1 boss fight and then give up.
Small treasure Complete 2 boss fights in a row, then give up.
100 rupees Complete 3 boss fights in a row, then give up.
Heart Piece 24 Complete 4 boss fights in a row, then give up (first time).
200 rupees Complete 4 boss fights in a row, then give up (subsequent times).
300 rupees Complete 5 boss fights in a row, then give up.
Rare treasure Complete 6 boss fights in a row, then give up.
500 rupees Complete 7 boss fights in a row, then give up.
Hylian Shield Complete 8 boss fights in a row, then give up (first time).
1,000 rupees Complete 8 boss fights in a row, then give up (subsequent times).
2,000 rupees Complete 9 boss fights in a row, then give up.
3 rare treasures Complete 10 boss fights in a row, then give up.
3,000 rupees Complete 11 boss fights in a row, then give up.
Max rupees Complete 12 boss fights in a row (Hero Mode only).

Goddess Cubes

Goddess Cube Location
Number 27 After speaking to the Thunder Dragon, go across the bridge to the north-east section. When you reach the raised land in the center of the sand pit, use the Gust Bellows to reveal a second timeshift stone. Hit the stone and then head south towards the edge.

Treasure

Item Location
Life Tree Seedling In the same area as Goddess Cube 27 (mentioned above). After hitting the second timeshift stone, the withered tree nearby will revert to a seedling, which you can grab.
