The Slingshot is gifted to Link after a day’s hard work. (left), Use it to hit faraway objects or stun monsters. (right)

The Slingshot is a projectile-firing item that first appeared in Ocarina of Time. When used, you’ll enter an over-the-shoulder perspective, where you can aim and shoot by moving the Wii remote/Joy-Con/right stick.

To use the Slingshot, you must be carrying Deku Seeds. These can be obtained from cutting grass, breaking pots etc. or by purchasing from the Bazaar. By default, you can carry up to 20 seeds.

Seeds fired from the Slingshot can defeat some weak enemies and stun others. They can also activate far-away switches or knock down loose vines so you can swing from them.

Where to Find

The Slingshot can be obtained from the Kikwi elder in Faron Woods after rounding up all the missing Kikwi.

Upgrades

You can upgrade the Slingshot into the Scattershot.
