The 
What a Bird Wants side quest in Final Fantasy 16 can be acquired in the 
Three Reeds sub-region once you reach the Homecoming main quest. Here you’ll find a person named Rowan and he needs your help to delivering some packages. We’ll take you through the necessary steps to completion and to finding the drop off location.
Speak with Rowan, Traveling Trader to begin this Side Quest.
Clive is asked by Rowan, a merchant making his way to 
Martha’s Rest, to take charge of an urgent delivery.
How to Start What A Bird Wants Side Quest¶
Before you can begin the “What A Bird Wants” Side Quest you’ll need to progress through the game until you reach the Hideaway which should take you around 3 hours if you’re starting from the beginning. For those continuing on from the demo, then it should take you an extra hour. From this point, you’ll need to play for a few more hours until you reach the Main Quest Homecoming. Here you’ll want to visit the Three Reeds Sub-Region in 
The Imperial Province of Rosaria and speak with Rowan, Traveling Trader to begin this quest.
Where To Deliver The Package¶
You’ll be tasked with delivering the packages for Rowan, as his cart has been knocked by some aggressive 
Chocobos. He is probably carrying lots of 
Gysahl Greens which is a bitter leafy vegetable that is a Chocobos favorite snack. From here, you’ll want to follow the path along to the west until you cross the bridge, but you may want to explore the surrounding area for chests that contain useful materials and accessories. Additionally, you’ll want to make sure you defeat every enemy you come across, as this will give you EXP, AP and other useful crafting materials.

After you’ve finished exploring the area, head up to the Chocobo Stable and speak with Gerald, Stable Master and hand over the Sealed Crate to bring the quest to a close. Here you’ll be rewarded with x10 
Sharp Fangs and x5 
Bloody Hides which are more useful crafting materials.
