This is a guide for the Needs of the Many Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16 can be acquired at The Hideaway once you reach the Righting Wrongs main quest. Here you’ll find an NPC named Alban who is The Hideaway’s postmaster. He’ll request that you find his missing friend. We’ll take you through the necessary steps to completion and where to find Randal.

How to Start The Needs of the Many Side Quest in FF16¶
First things first, you’ll need to have completed the main story mission The Meaning of Life, and be on Righting Wrongs. When those requirements have been met, head over to Alban, Postmaster who can be found at the entrance of 
The Hideaway.
Where To Find Randal¶
You’ll be tasked with finding Randal who went missing in Lostwing after doing some work, so fast travel to Lostwig via the map, then head up to the north of the map via the Inna and speak with 
Quinten who is found standing behind the bar to see if he has any useful information. Here you’ll discover that Randal went to meet one of Quinten’s friends and should’ve been back, so head through the Cutter’s Gate to the southeast of the map and follow the path along until you reach Laubert’s Pass.

Speak with Quinten’s Comrade who can be found crouched in the middle of the path and you’ll discover him and Randal were ambushed by 
Beastmen, so continue following the path along until you come across multiple 
Goblins. You’ll want to group up the smaller enemies first and use AoE Skills, such as 
Aerial Blast to deplete their health quickly, then when you focus on the larger enemies switch over to using strong single target abilities such as 
Heatwave. After you’ve cleared out the nearby enemies, inspect the nearby corpse to discover that Randal is gone. Return to the Randal’s Fate Inn and speak with Quinten to bring the quest to a close and you’ll be rewarded with x30 
Wyrrite, x30 
Sharp Fangs and a 
Meteorite.
