After completing the Blacksmith’s Blues side quest, you’ll unlock the Drakeslayer’s Set. This requires various materials which you most likely haven’t come across yet. Well, 
Scarletite is one of these materials, and you’ll need two of them among other materials to complete the set. This page will show you where you can find all of the Scarletite in Final Fantasy 16.

Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) Scarletite Locations¶
You get Scarletite mainly as Hunt rewards, but you can also get it from side quests too. Here is a list of where you can find them.

What is Scarletite Used In?¶
The first use of Scarletite is the Drakeslayer Set which is obtained by completing the Blacksmith’s Blues side quest. As stated above, you’ll need two of these to complete said set. The next time you’ll need the material is for the 
Excalibur Weapon. You’ll get the Design Draft for it from the Blacksmith Blues II side quest, although this quest won’t unlock until you reach the Out of the Shadow main quest later on.

Where to use Scarletite?¶
Once you’ve gotten your grubby mitts on some Scarletite, head over to 
Blackthorne who can be found hammering away on his anvil at 
The Black Hammer in the Hideaway, and choose the equipment you want to craft. This will automatically craft the piece of gear providing you have all the required materials. If you’re here looking to craft the Drakeslayer’s Set, you’re probably looking at where to find
