There are plenty of short side quests in Final Fantasy XVI to spend your time completing. One of them is called the Bearer of Good News and is located in the Dhalmekian Republic in 
Boklad. All you need to do is speak with a few NPCs around town and you will get a small reward. The guide below goes over how to start Bearer of Good News side quest and find all three of Ondrej’s friends around Boklad.

How to Start Bearer of Good News in FF16¶
You can start this quest as soon as you arrive in Boklad during the Onward main story quest. Once in town, head up the stairs before you go into the marketplace to find the tavern at the top. Here you will see Ondrej, speak with him and he will ask you to find three of his friends to share a bottle of wine with. All three are nearby, making this a simple quest to complete.
Where to Find Ondrej’s Friends in Boklad¶
There are three NPCs that you will need to locate around Boklad. The first of which is down from the tavern, standing in front of a Chocobo. Their name is Oldrich. Once you’re done speaking with them, head into the marketplace and you will immediately spot the second NPC, Bolek. He’s working behind a stall, speak with him and then head towards the gate at the end of the Boklad marketplace. Here you will find the final NPC, a guard named Milan. Speak with him and then head back to the tavern.
Once you’re at the tavern again, speak wild Ondrej and a short cutscene will play where the group of friends gather together. This will complete the quest. For your trouble, you will receive 300 XP, 15 Renown, 40x 
Wyrrite, and 1x 
Black Blood. Be sure to grab some other quests in the area to make the most of your time in Boklad.
