While weapons affect how much damage you deal in combat, and accessories impact your various abilities, equipment such as Belts and Vambraces will increase both your Defense and HP, vital stats in Final Fantasy 16. All Belts in Final Fantasy 16¶
Belts are the first piece of equipment that Clive can equip, and you’ll find it next to the Swords slot in the Gear & Eikons menu. Most of these come from the shop or the forge, but there are a few pieces, including the ultimate armor, that comes from completing Side Quests.
