The Red Letter Day side quest in Final Fantasy 16 can be acquired in 
The Hideaway once you reach the Righting Wrongs main quest. Here you’ll find a person named Glen and he’ll ask you to find his missing supplies. We’ll take you through the necessary steps to completion and where to find the Lost Supplies.
Speak with Glen to begin this quest.
A courier at the hideaway asks Clive to find some goods he lost, including an important letter for Cid.
How to Start Red Letter Day Side Quest in FF16¶
Before you can begin the “Red Letter Day” Side Quest you’ll need to progress through the game until you reach the Hideaway which should take you around 3 hours if you’re starting from the beginning. For those continuing on from the demo, then it should take you an extra hour. From this point, you’ll need to play for a few more hours until you reach the Main Quest “Righting Wrongs”. Here you’ll want to speak with Glen, Courier in The Bunks to begin the quest.
Where to Find The Missing Items¶
You’ll be tasked with finding some missing items that Glen lost, so fast travel to the Orballe Downs, then you’ll see three objective markers scattered around the Gaultand’s Bales. Approach them and pick up the three Lost Supplies. Unfortunately, none of these sacks contain Cid’s missing letter, so speak with the Field Hand Lady who can be found watering some vines and she’ll inform that a dog had it in his mouth.

From here, you’ll want to head towards the Cellar Passage, but before you do, be sure to explore the area as you’ll find some Chests that contain useful Accessories and an 
Orchestrion. Before you reach the Cellar Passage you’ll have to pass some houses where the dog is sitting. Approach it and pick up the letter, then return to the Hideaway and give Glen the letter to bring the quest to a close, then you’ll be rewarded with x20 
Wyrrite and x10 
Sharp Fangs.
