What Do You Need To Create a Tailor Room in V Rising¶

In V Rising you can build a different types of rooms which are dedicated to a certain types of equipment and along with it comes certain types of bonuses, such as the time the Loom takes to create Ghost Yarn. However, you’ll need to unlock the Tailor’s Flooring.

How To Unlock The Tailor’s Flooring in V Rising¶

Your first steps to acquiring the Tailor’s Flooring is to unlock and build a Study which is done by defeating Nicholaus the Fallen who is 37 V Blood V Blood Boss, so make sure your Gear Level is at least 30-35. You can track his blood via the Blood Altar, then you’ll be led to the Forgotten Cemetery.

Upon taking him down, return to your Castle and pick up 40 Paper, 40 Planks, 8 Copper Ingots, and 8 Grave Dust and build it. You’ll now acquire the recipe for the Tailor’s Flooring out in the world by fighting Enemies, Bosses and looking through Chests in villages/camps in the Dunley Farmlands region.

If you have no luck finding it out in the world, then you can use 75 Scrolls and click Discover at the top of the Study and hope you get it as one of your random recipes. Scrolls can be found in a variety of places, such as drops from enemies or chests from Bandit Camps in the Dunley Farmlands region. However as you progress through the game you can unlock a Paper Press which will craft you one Scroll for 9 Gem Dust and 3 Paper.

How To Unlock The Paper Press in V Rising¶

The Paper Press is unlocked via the Study which you should have already built by now, then you’ll need to find the recipe out in the wild. After you’ve gotten your hands on the Paper Press Recipe you’ll need to build it which costs 12 Planks and 12 Copper Ingots.

Change the Flooring to Tailor Flooring (left), and you’ll be given the bonuses shown at the to (right)

Once you’re in possession of the Tailor’s Flooring, create a medium sized room and have the flooring as Tailor’s Flooring which can be found by opening up your build menu by pressing , then click on Castle, Floors and Tailor’s Flooring should the fifth one along. This will unlock a bonus for for any equipment which is classed as a Tailor. You can see this underneath the equipment in the Build Menu.

What Are The Tailor Room Bonuses¶

Having a Tailor Room in your Castle in V Rising will increase the production speed of creating a variety of items, such as Cotton Yarn, Ghost Yarn and Cloth. Additionally, the amount of resources needed to craft these is reduced by 25%, so cloth will cost 3 Leather and 9 Plant Fiber instead of 4 Leather and 12 Plant Fiber.

What Equipment Can Be Used In an Tailor Room in V Rising¶

The Tailor Room can give bonuses to the following types of equipment: Tailoring Bench, Tannery and Loom.
