The trophies and achievements in Metaphor: ReFantazio can take you a while to unlock, especially some of the grindier ones. King of Cuisine requires you to cook all of the recipes in the game to unlock the trophy/achievement. Thankfully, all of the recipes will unlock as you get more party members, but finding the ingredients for them can prove a little troublesome.
All Recipes Locations in Metaphor¶
As mentioned above, you won’t have to go out of your way to find the recipes in the game. They will all unlock as you recruit more characters to your party, so it’s just a matter of progressing the main story. There are a total of 21 recipes in the game, but to get that last one, you’ll need to make the other 20 first. You can only cook on your gauntlet runner, and only while traveling to another area. Whenever you check the cooking table after getting a new party member, you will unlock more of the recipes.

Also, you are only able to cook once per time slot and normally, cooking does take up a time slot. However, if you get your Bond with Maria to Rank 4, then cooking will not take up a time slot. Thus, it’s a good idea to not do anything related to cooking until you get her to that rank. Once you get her Bond to Rank 7, then any time you make a dish, you will get an additional one for free. Whenever you cook a recipe, it will be ticked off on the menu in the game with a symbol, basically saying you made it. There is no need to make more than that, if you’re going for the trophy/achievement. Create all of the dishes and then the trophy/achievement will be yours!
