During the course of the game, you will run into many people who will have side quests for you, in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Once you turn in your first bounty, the recruiter will mention about a monster in the Mausoleum in Grand Trad. This will direct you to a noble in the same city, who seems to have lost some heirloom. Your goal will be to navigate the Mausoleum, retrieve the heirloom and bring it back to the noble.

A Haunted Heirloom Location¶
Before this quest can show up, you will need to have accepted, completed and turned in any bounty. One of the first bounties you can do is Maneater Manjula, which is in Tradia Desert right outside of Grand Trad. Once you finish the bounty and hand it in, the recruiter will mention something about a monster in the Mausoleum in Grand Trad. He will also mention that a noble in the same city seems to have lost a family heirloom, so it’s basically an invitation to go to Grand Trad and grab this quest.
Teleport to the city, if you’re not there already, and go to Sunlumeo Street. If you look at the map here, you should see the quest icon a little south of the igniter shop. The noble standing there mentions his wife died in the Grand Cathedral incident, but a family heirloom was still left there. He says that some big monster took it and went into the Mausoleum, so you offer to head in there to retrieve it, much to the dismay of the noble.

When you go to the entrance of the Mausoleum, you can pick up the 
Skullduggery quest. It is best to do both at the same time, as they both ask you to go through the Mausoleum, so this will cut down on the days needed for your calendar. In order to complete this quest, you will have to go through the entirety of the dungeon and defeat the boss at the end. In order to open the door leading to the boss, you’ll need to open two chests that have pieces of a key. Once you get both and the key is assembled, head to the boss door to face your foe.
After defeating the Kadablich, you will receive the 
Black Jewel Necklace. All that’s left is to return it to the noble to finish up the quest.
A Haunted Heirloom Rewards¶
For completing this quest, you will earn 4,000 Reeves, as well as a boost to your Courage Royal Virtue. Additionally, you will also receive a 
Sandglass Cuirass piece of armor for your troubles.
