You will run into many different side quests in Metaphor: ReFantazio, some of which will require you to finish other quests first. The Queen of Cuisine: Soul is a quest that first needs you to finish The Queen of Cuisine: Heart, which was available during the Martira portion of the game. Similar to that quest, this one will have you cooking a specific dish for the Classy Woman, specifically, an Indestructible Honey Cake.

The Queen of Cuisine: Soul Location¶

To start, you will need to have completed The Queen of Soul: Heart first, which is gotten from the tavern in Martira after finishing the story there earlier in the game. Once you’ve done that, keep progressing the story until you reach 9/26 on the in-game calendar. This will be the final stretch of free time in the game, meaning you will have around a whole month to complete it. You will find the Classy Woman in Grand Trad, specifically on Sunlumeo Street, standing in front of the restaurant.

As with the previous quest, she wants you to bring her a specific meal. She wants it to be fluffy, while also using a Lumibee. The dish you want is the Indestructible Honey Cake, with that recipe coming from having Basilio join your party. It is possible that you might have already made one, in which you can simply speak with the NPC again and hand it over. If not, then you will need to obtain two of each of the ingredients listed below.

White Peach Turnip Location¶

The White Peach Turnip is a cooking ingredient that is usually pretty easy to obtain, since it can be purchased from a store. Head on over to the Graco Meat Market on Virga Island to find these for sale, which can be done pretty much any time after arriving there. You don’t technically need to worry about wasting time with this, as with the other two ingredients below. However, once 9/26 rolls around, you will also be able to purchase it from one of the vendors in the Grand Cathedral market in Grand Trad.

Altabury Wheat Flour Location¶

The Altabury Wheat Flour is a simple ingredient to obtain, as you can just purchase it. Prior to 9/26, you would have to travel to the village of Malva, located by Altabury Heights, to get it. However, after 9/26, you will be able to purchase this from a vendor in the Grand Cathedral area of Grand Trad.

Lumibee Location¶

Normally, of the three ingredients listed, the Lumibee is the most annoying to get. The normal method of obtaining one is only via the gauntlet runner, but only at night when the runner stops at campfires on the map. You could see a glowing orb at the fire on the deck of the runner and if it was blue, then it would be a Lumibee. There’s a chance the orb would be red, which is another item, or you might not see one at all.

Thankfully, you don’t have to do all of the above to obtain Lumibees from 9/26 onwards. The reason for that is you will be able to actually purchase them, which makes things a lot easier on your end. Simply head on over to the Comfort Concoctions in Grand Trad to see that not only do they sell Lumibees there, but they also sell Dreameater Moths.

Once you have all of the necessary ingredients, you will need to venture off with your runner to some location, as you can only cook while your runner is moving. It’s a good idea to pair this with one of the other side quests/bounties that becomes available at the same time. When you have access to the cooking, make an Indestructible Honey Cake, then report back to the Classy Woman to hand it over to her.

The Queen of Cuisine: Soul Rewards¶

For completing the quest, you will receive some Eloquence, which is one of the Royal Virtues. Additionally, she will also give you a Lord of the Lake, a pretty rare cooking ingredient that can only be obtained from fishing. Lastly, you will receive 33,750 Reeves for your troubles.
