The Royal Warrior is one of the Royal Archetypes in Metaphor: ReFantazio. It is the complete embodiment of power, a pillar of the fight that braces and attacks with immense Slash damage that can target several enemies. It is weak to Wind damage, but strong against Fire damage.

The Royal Warrior is a part of the Warrior Lineage and its final, ultimate form. The Royal Warrior Archetype is a fairly tricky class to use like the rest of its Lineage.

How to unlock the Royal Warrior Archetype

The Royal Warrior is unlocked after getting Strohl’s bond to Rank 8. After you complete his unique quest, talk to him on your next free day. Continue to do this, waiting 24 hours between each rank until you to reach Rank 8.

You will also need to reach Rank 20 with the Samurai and Rank 20 with the Warlord. Plus, be sure to have 30,000 MAG to spare.

Royal Warrior Skills

The Royal Warrior has eight skills:

Vorpal Blade - Deals extreme physical Slash damage to all enemies. Decreases their Attack for 3 turns. (18 MP)
Unwavering Blade - Increases caster’s Hit/Evasion by three ranks for 3 turns. (20 MP)
Concentrate - Increases caster’s Attack by three ranks for 3 turns. (20 MP)
Martial Lore - [Passive] Increases basic attacks’ power by 50%.
Brave Blade - Deals heavy physical Slash damage to one enemy. High Critical Rate. (36 MP)
Slash Surge - [Passive] Increases Slash Attack by 30%.
Hassou Tobi - Deals weak physical Slash damage to all enemies 8 times. (88 MP)
Noble Warrior’s Soul - [Passive] If wielder defeats an enemy with a physical attack, no Turn Icon is lost.

Royal Warrior Synthesis Skills

The Royal Warrior has access to just three Synthesis Skills:

Peerless Stonecleave - Deals severe physical Slash damage to one enemy. Adds one Turn Icon on a killing blow. (22 MP) [Allies needed: Warrior, Thief, or Masked Dancer Lineages]
Phantom Swordswarm - Deals medium physical Slash damage 4-6 times to one enemy. If it’s a killing blow, adds one Turn Icon. (16 MP) [Allies needed: Brawler, Merchant, or Summoner Lineages]
Crimson Moon Sword Art - Deals severe physical Slash damage to all enemies. May inflict Charm. (22 MP) [Allies needed: Warrior, Brawler, or Berserker Lineages]
