You will find a lot of different people throughout your adventure, that need your help, in Metaphor: ReFantazio. One of these people will appear on Sunlumeo Street after you first enter the Grand Cathedral dungeon. The NPC will ask you about the food at the Hushed Honeybee Inn, which you can learn about by working there. This page will detail where to start the Help the Hushed Honeybee side quest, as well as how to work at the inn.
Help the Hushed Honeybee Location¶
After fighting the one boss in the short section of the Grand Cathedral and getting your permanent third party member, you will unlock the ability to spend time while doing certain activities. This will also unlock a few side quests in Grand Trad, one of which will be on Sunlumeo Street. Specifically, you’re looking for the side quest towards the southeastern corner of that area, since there is another sidequest found to the north.

Speak to this NPC to learn that he works at a high-end hotel and dreams of becoming a five star chef. That’s why he caught wind of the Honeybee Inn, but his superiors won’t allow him to go there, even going so far as to fire him for entering Sunshade Row. That’s why he asks you to go help out with the cooking there, then report back to him with your findings. There is also a deadline of June 19th for this quest, so make sure you do it as soon as possible.
Help the Hushed Honeybee Walkthrough¶
As mentioned by Gallica after you accept the quest, the Hushed Honeybee is really busy at night, so that is when you will be able to spend some time there to cook. So, you will need to pass the time somewhere first, especially if you’re still in the Afternoon. There is another side quest on Sunlumeo Street, but it requires you to be at Wisdom level 2 before you can accept it. A bench to the east of that side quest will allow you to sit to take in the sights, and gives a small boost to Wisdom.
It’s a good idea to do that (there are other NPCs who will take up a time slot throughout the city, if you want), since pairing that activity with this side quest will net you Wisdom level 2. However you do it, spend time until night, then go back to the inn. Speak with Fabienne and choose the first option (Let’s do it then), which will trigger a scene with you cooking. There is a choice during it and the choice does matter, if you want to get the most points. If you get the fruit option, then choose to Grate it in and simmer, while an egg option should have you cook it on low heat. You will get Tolerance +3 for doing this activity, plus you can also return to the Young Nidia to finish the quest.

Help the Hushed Honeybee Rewards¶
For completing this side quest, you will receive x3 Magla Pills, which are the items that replenish your MP. Additionally, you will also get 2,000 Reeves for your troubles, a nice amount for such an early quest. Your Wisdom Royal Virtue will also increase by four points. Doing this side quest, along with sitting on the bench by the igniter shop, will be enough to boost your Wisdom to level 2.
