How to Use Ramuh’s Abilities¶
After taking the power from Cid, Clive can now channel Ramuh’s attacks. In this battle, you will have three abilities to choose from. Below is a table with all the moves you have and you can check out our guide here to see our full Ramuh ability guide.
Ability | Description | AP Cost | Upgrade Cost | Mastery Cost |
---|---|---|---|---|
Blind Justice | Launch a barrage of ball lightning at one or more enemies. Targets are determined by locking onto them before executing the ability. Ball lightning will affix itself to a target and can be caused to discharge, dealing additional damage, if the target is attacked. | – | – | 500 |
Pile Drive | Drive Ramuh’s staff into the ground, electrifying all enemies within a radius of the strike. | – | 660 | 1000 |
Thunderstorm | Call forth a powerful thunderstorm that rains multiple bolts of lightning down upon a target. | – | 575 | 1000 |
In this battle, you will first be pitted against some weaker enemies. Stone Scepters, Stone Scimitars, and a Stone Commandant As with most battles you want to take out the magic user first, but this time use your new abilities to do so. At the start of each enemy wave use Blind Justice to target the group and afflict them with discharge. You will also want to practice using Thunderstorm on far-away targets and Pile Drive to deal AoE damage around you. You can also switch to one of the other Eikons if you like there powers better, the fight doesn’t lock you in to just using Ramuh.
After the second wave is defeated another cutscene will play. This is where the Republic War Panther will enter the arena. For more information on how to use Ramuh, check out our Best Ramuh Abilities Guide.
How to Defeat The Republic War Panther in Cid The Outlaw¶
The Republic War Panther isn’t a difficult boss, once again this mission is more about playing around with Ramuh’s abilities. The War Panther is fast though, so you will need to dodge once it starts to lunge towards Clive. While it’s attacking, you will want to keep it up, once there’s a break in its assault you can start hitting it with your sword. Be sure to use Blind Justice on it, and keep it up during battle, you can also use Thunderstorm to hit the War Panther from a safe distance. Keep in mind that like most bosses the Republic War Panther has a spin attack so attacking it from behind won’t really work.
Once the Republic War Panther wakes up from a stagger it will also use its special ability, Savage. You will want to focus on dodging at this stage as it will lunge at you striking with its claws. After it steps back and jumps at you for the second time this ability will be over and you can go in for another attack. Repeat this process until the Panther is complete, and another cutscene will play showing that the Bearers now take issue with Clive’s cause. After this, you will go back to the world map and be able to start the Home, Sweet Home main quest.
