The northern-most Forward Station on Kadara is located in the middle of Kadara’s operational zone, in the central highlands. The mountainous terrain makes getting around difficult, but if you follow the road near this Forward Station to its eastern-most point it’ll terminate near an unmarked structure. From this structure drive uphill to the south to find another unmarked, isolated structure hiding out in the mountains (you come by this place during the quest “Gone With the Wind”.)
Talk to a Refugee standing on a porch outside the building and somehow she’ll identify you as a Pathfinder, after which she’ll tell you about how they came to be here before asking you to speak to the others. Seems like they could use some help. Enter the building after she unlocks the door and talk to the Refugees inside, who seem like a reasonable enough bunch. It’s rough living, but they’re doing better than most in the badlands. Specifically, be sure to talk to an Asari Refugee and she’ll question you about the Nexus. Respond as you will and she’ll complain about her broken communications equipment, which starts this quest.
Leave the building, leap onto the roof and scan the Communications Array, then leap up onto the platform it’s on and fix it. Once done, simply jump back down, return to the house and you’ll find the Asari merrily chatting with her mother, confirming that you were successful. For this act of kindness you’ll earn 29 AVP, 2% Kadara viability and 270 XP.
