The next time you chat with Liam after Aya he’ll ask you to greenlight an armor requisition project. Indulge him by heading over to the R&D Terminal and access the Development menu, then go over to the “Special Items” tab and build “Liam’s Armor Requisition” . The project will consume all of ten Aluminum and ten Iron, which is a pittance at this point in time.
Once done, head to the Storage room in Deck 3 (southwestern part of the ship), where you’ll find that Liam and Jaal have… gotten rather familiar with each other. Respond as you will when you get a chance and they’ll reveal the true purpose of this project, a sort of… cultural trial by fire. Approve or disapprove of their game and this short little quest will end.
