During your travels through the city of Aya (probably during the end of the quest “A Trail of Hope”) you may have been scanned by an Angaran. SAM raised a fuss, but it wasn’t worth disrupting the business at hand over. Now’s a fine time to take care of the matter, however. Confront the Angaran - Daanfre - about the scan (she’s northwest of the Resistance Headquarters fast travel point) and she’ll properly ask permission to what she already attempted to do discreetly. Allow her to scan you or make an exchange out of it, and either way she’ll ramble about the future before the quest ends, earning you a pittance of XP.
