Return to the southwestern part of the Docking Bay’s Common Area (if necessary) and head into the Vortex, where, as mentioned previously you can chit-chat with Liam, as well as the two bartenders. Dutch Smith is an eccentric character who will pour booze down your gullet until you pass out, but for the quest, you’ll need to talk to Anan T’Mari, who asks you to find ingredients to keep the bar stocked. This starts the quest “Task - Better Crafting”.

Backtrack to the tram and travel to the Hyperion’s Habitation Deck, then make your way to the lab between the Atrium and the Tram Station, where you’ll find a search zone. Pop up your Scanner and scan a box in the northwestern corner of the room to find, of all things, some hops.
Once scanned, you need merely return to the Vortex and talk to Anan for a small XP reward. After this, the quest will go dormant, waiting for your next opportunity to score ingredients.
