How To Get Copper Bars in Enshrouded

By
Craig Robinson

Copper Bars are a material in Enshrouded that players will need to make a variety of early to mid game items, alongside used in Bronze and the late game. It is for the best that you get your hands on as many Copper Bars as early as possible, whether it is because of your future armor requirements, tool upgrades, base building, or simply preparing for the future. With that said, here’s the best way to get Copper Bars in Enshrouded.

Enshrouded’s Copper Bars are largely gathered by forging them in your base’s Smelter.

How to Make Copper Bars in Enshrouded

You must know that you will need a Smelter to forge Copper Bars from Copper Ore in Enshrouded. Without that method, you will be relying on random drops from Revelwood Tower, Flame Sanctums, or from the various dungeons around the zone to get them. Smashing random props and looting them can sometimes randomly yield Copper Bars, among other items on their loot tables.

If you have not already done so, you will need to complete the Crucible Needed for Smelter Quest. Without completing that quest, you will not be able to get the item you need then to craft the Smelter in your base from the Blacksmith. To do so, go to the Mark of Sameth, located on the central western side of the Revelwood biome, and then look for the Crucible in the sealed-off back room where there’s rubble from a cave-in.

The Blacksmith will send you on a quest to retrieve his stolen Crucible, as he needs it to craft a Smelter.

With that settled, you must craft the Smelter, requiring 50 Fired Bricks, and a Crucible from the Blacksmith. You can get the Bricks from the Kiln, requiring you to forge Lumps of Clay with Wood to create them.

With the Smelter now forged, place it in your base and you can now begin to convert your Copper Ore into Copper Bars. To make Copper Bars in Enshrouded, you will need the following materials:

  • 20x Charcoal
  • 20x Copper Ore
    • This will bag you 10 Copper Bars with a crafting time of 5 minutes.

If you need any reliable farms, feel free to check out our Clay Guide to find Clay locations, alongside our best Revelwood Copper Ore farms. When you move into Nomad Highlands, you’ll find even more Copper while you’re on the hunt for Tin Ore to make Bronze Bars, which will certainly make life easier for later on.

And there you have it; you now know everything you need to know about how to make Copper Bars in Enshrouded. Good luck with your crafting requirements and mining this material. Remember that Copper Ore respawns from its various spawn points when the server resets, so use this to your advantage to make mining Copper easier in your preferred locations.

Enshrouded is a survival game where you play the role of a Flameborn, the last hope of a dying race of Ancients and their Human allies. You’re one of the few beings who can withstand the deadly Shroud, which smothers much of the land as a pathogenic fungi. As you seek to destroy the Shroud you’ll encounter monstrous enemies that are born from it, but also other types in the form of Scavenger bandits, the Vukah warrior clan, and more. Whether you choose to focus on building your dream base, defeating some of the most difficult bosses, or exploring whimsically to your heart’s content, this guide covers all of it with the following sections:
