How to Make Alchemical Base in Enshrouded¶
To get Alchemical Base in Enshrouded, you will need to have unlocked the Alchemy Station from the Alchemist Quest, A Black Cauldron. To get the Black Cauldron, you will need to visit a few POIs around Nomad Highlands, which will take you through Rattlebleak, then to a small shrouded area near the Ancient Tower in the Nomad Highlands. Inside, you find a Fell Monstrosity, and with it, acquire the Black Cauldron. On a side note, the quest appears somewhat randomly when entering Nomad Highlands. Make sure to complete all other crafter quests and craft all important marked crafts in the Alchemist to ensure you get the trigger for the quest.
When you acquire the item, return to the Alchemist, and craft the Alchemist Station. To do so, you need the following items:
- 20x Fired Bricks
- 6x Wood Planks
- 10x Nails
- 3x Wood Logs
- 5x Copper Bars
- 1x Black Cauldron
Once you have created the craft for the Alchemy Station from the Alchemist, place it in your base, and you can start creating new recipes. Among the list is the Alchemical Base, which then requires the following items to craft it:
- 1x Shroud Liquid
- 1x Mycelium
- 1x Water
- 1x Shroud Spores
Alchemical Base can be crafted once you get the Alchemy Lab from the Alchemist’s questline.
All of these materials can be gathered from the Shrouded areas. Shroud Liquid comes from plants in the Shroud, while Mycelium is the mushroom-covered terrain. Meanwhile, Shroud Spores come from all Fell enemies in any Shrouded area, especially the basic warriors and Fell archer enemies. On the other hand, Water is best found in Wells, which are commonly found in many farming and village settlement POIs, and at this stage of the game, you can make your own Wells from Carpenters.

- Extraordinary Glider - This is the third version of the Glider, requiring you to use four Alchemical Base alongside other similar tier resources like Linen and Leather.
- Stun Arrow - A type of arrow that is exclusively used to stun enemies. It requires one Alchemical Base alongside Bug Dust, Twigs, and Goo.
- Spice - A craft found in the Laboratory, requiring one Alchemical Base, among other plants. You will use Spice to craft new meal recipes.
- Nitrate - Used in creating explosives and Fertilized Soil. It requires one Alchemical Base along with one Wood Acid and five Sand and Salt.
